The victim’s body was taken to the County Coroner on Friday night, who carried out an autopsy to establish how the man died and to try to find out something about his murderer.

You have the opportunity for a 20 minute video conference with the coroner, who has discovered a great deal about the victim – your team just needs to ask the right questions.

Each group must;

• Before the video conference, discuss and write 3 questions to ask the coroner about the victim/ murder
• Explore one of the coroner’s answers with 1 follow-up question during the VC

Each investigator must;

• Use an Interview Log sheet from your case file to record your questions and the coroner’s answers
• Use the Unknown Suspect Log sheet from your case file to start to build up a picture of your suspect from what the coroner has told you
